COMMITTEE’S AND RULES OF THE PLEASANTDALE ROD & GUN CLUB

COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSON WILL BE POSTED ON THE BULLETIN BOARD
ANYONE WISHING TO SERVE ON A COMMITTEE MUST GO THROUGH THE CHAIRMAN OF THAT COMMITTEE OR THE PRESIDENT OF THE CLUB.

ALL COMMITTEES WILL SET THERE RESPECTIVE PRICES AND FEES WITH BOARD REVIEW WHEN NECESSARY.

GROUNDS COMMITTEE

  • ANY TOOLS, TRACTOR OR EQUIPMENT WILL NOT LEAVE THE CLUB PROPERTY.
  • NO UNAUTHORIZED PERSON WILL OPERATE ANY EQUIPMENT WITHOUT PERMISSION OF GROUNDS CHAIRMAN. EYE AND EAR PROTECTION REQUIRED.
  • ALL EQUIPMENT BROKEN OR IN NEED OF REPAIR WILL BE REPORTED TO GROUNDS CHAIRMAN. ANY INTENTIONAL MISUSE COULD RESULT IN DICAPLINARY MEASURES
  • NO FOUR WHEELER'S , MOTOR BIKES OR OTHER MOTORIZED VEHICLES ON CLUB PROPERTY EXCEPT FOR WORK DETAILS, REMOVAL OF FIREWOOD AND DEER. ALSO HANDICAPPED PERSONS THAT ARE HUNTING. NO UN-LICENSED DRIVING OF VEHICLES ON CLUB PROPERTY.
  • DOWNED FIREWOOD CAN BE TAKEN BY MEMBERS ONLY , BLOCKED ARCHERY TRAILS ARE A PRIORITY.
  • ALL HUNTERS OF CLUB PROPERTY WILL COME THROUGH CLUBHOUSE TO SIGN IN/SIGN OUT, STANDS AND BLINDS CARRY IN CARRY OUT. ORANGE REQUIRED.

    HOUSE COMMITTEE AND RULES

  • SMOKING IS ALLOWED INSIDE CLUB , EXCEPT AT CLUB FUNCTIONS SUCH AS SUPER BOWL AND GAME DINNER. ALSO, CONSIDERATION OF OTHER MEMBERS IS APPRECIATED.
  • BAR TABS ARE ON A MONTHLY BASIS AND MUST BE PAYED BY THE 5th OF THE FOLLOWING MONTH OR SOONER. MEMBERS ONLY BEHIND BAR.
  • CERTAIN CLUB EQUIPMENT CAN BE LOANED OUT TO MEMBERS WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE BIG GAS GRILL. ALL LOANS MUST GO THROUGH HOUSE CHAIRMAN OR KITCHEN CHAIRMAN. TABLES AND CHAIRS HAVE TO BE RECORDED IN BOOK AFTER FIRST GETTING O.K. FROM HOUSE CHAIRMAN.
  • ALL GAME PUT IN COOLER MUST BE TAGGED AND DOUBLE WRAPPED AND ANY SPILLAGE SHOULD BE CLEANED UP. ANY POTS AND PANS USED CLEANED AND PUT AWAY AND GARBAGE EMPTIED.
  • NO BIKES , SKATES , HEALIES , OR ANY OTHER TOYS OR EQUIPMENT THAT WILL MARK OR DAMAGE THE FLOOR ARE ALLOWED INSIDE CLUBHOUSE. ALSO NO BALLS OR OTHER OBJECT THROWING IN CLUBHOUSE.
  • PEOPLE WHO BRING ANIMALS INTO CLUB MUST KEEP ANIMALS RESTRAINED ON A LEASH AND CLEAN UP AFTER THEM. PARENTS SHOULD ADVISE CHILDREN TO STAY CLEAR OF ANY ANIMALS.
  • NO PHYSICAL CONTACT WILL BE TOLERATED ON CLUB PROPERTY.
  • NO DRUGS ON CLUB PROPERTY.
  • NO RENTALS OF THE CLUB.

    KITCHEN COMMITTEE

  • USE OF THE KITCHEN IS EVERYONE'S PRIVILEGE. PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF INCLUDING WASHING DISHES AND ANY MESS ON COUNTERS AND FLOOR.
  • MAKE SURE FREEZER AND COOLER DOORS ARE SHUT TIGHT. STORE ALL UTENSILS THAT YOU USE.
  • A DONATION FOR COFFEE IS REQUESTED ALL OTHER PRICES ARE LISTED IN THE MENU.
  • ALL REQUESTS FOR PRIVATE USE OF KITCHEN EQUIPTMENT ARE TO BE APPROVED BY KITCHEN CHAIRMAN.
  • DUMPSTER IS FOR CLUB USE ONLY.

    BAR TENDING

  • WHEN THE CLUB IS IN USE BY THE TRAP LEAGUE , ARCHERY LEAGUE OR OTHER AUTHORIZED USE OF THE CLUB, THE HOUSE COMMITTEE SHALL PROVIDE A BARTENDER TO OVERSEE THE OPERATION OF THE BAR.
  • WHEN A MEMBER HAS THE PRIVATE USE OF THE CLUB, THE MEMBER OR HOUSEMAN OR BEVERAGE CHAIRMAN SHALL PROVIDE A BARTENDER NOT RELATED TO THE MEMBER TO OVERSEE THE OPERATION OF THE BAR. BARTENDERS ARE NOT TO DRINK BEFORE OR DURING FUNCTION.
  • EACH MEMBER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS OWN ACTIONS AT ANY TIME THAT THE CLUB IS NOT BEING USED AS PROVIDED IN 1 OR 2 ABOVE.
  • WHENEVER A BARTENDER(S) IS ON DUTY, IT IS HIS RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE THAT NO ONE IS SERVED THAT HAS HAD TO MUCH TO DRINK OR IS OTHERWISE CAUSING A PROBLEM. IN ADDITION , IT SHALL BE THE SOLE DISCRETION OF THE BARTENDER WEATHER TO SERVE OR CUT SOMEONE OFF.

    BEVERAGE COMMITTEE

  • MONEY WILL NOT BE REMOVED FROM REGISTER BY ANYONE WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL FROM THE BEVERAGE COMMITTEE. (Exceptions - Reimbursement for money laid out , a register receipt must be put in the register signed by the person who put it there).
  • LARGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY THAT WOULD BE LEFT OVERNIGHT CAN BE PUT IN DROP BOX IN ENVELOPE WITH AMOUNT AND SIGNATURE OF DEPOSITOR.
  • UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS BEER TO BE REMOVED FROM CLUB PROPERTY.
  • ONE WEEK NOTICE ON ADDITIONAL BEER FOR CLUB FUNCTIONS.

    RIFLE RANGE

  • MEMBER’S MUST SIGN IN & OUT WHEN USING THE RANGE.
    o GUESTS ARE TO PAY $5 FOR A 2-HOUR USAGE OF THE RANGE.
    Member is to:
    o Sign in their guest(s).
    o Place guest fee in an envelope and drop in safe.
    o Be present on range entire time their guest is shooting.
  • DO NOT PLACE TARGET ON FRAMES.
    (Use only paper targets - No glass, cans, clays, etc).
  • STEEL PLATE REPAIRS DONE BY RANGE COMMITTEE ONLY.
  • CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF.
    o DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING ON THE RANGE.
    o PICK UP ALL CASINGS, EXCEPT RIMFIRE.
    o REMOVE ALL TARGETS FROM BACKSTOPS.
  • RANGE IS CLOSED DURING BIG GAME RIFLE SEASON.
    o NO GUESTS ONE-WEEK BEFORE BIG GAME RIFLE SEASON.
  • SHOTGUN'S TO BE USED WITH SLUGS ONLY.

    SAFETY RULES

    1) ALWAYS POINT THE MUZZLE IN A SAFE DIRECTION.
    2) KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL READY TO SHOOT.
    3) KEEP ACTION OPEN AND FIREARM UNLOADED WHEN NOT SHOOTING.
    4) BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT’S BEYOND.
    5) KNOW WHERE OTHERS ARE AT ALL TIMES.
    6) WEAR EAR AND EYE PROTECTION.
    7) KNOW YOUR FIREARM AND AMMUNITION.
    8) DON’T MIX ALCOHOL AND/OR DRUGS WITH SHOOTING.

    TRAP COMMITTEE

  • WORKING HOURS WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
    1) ALL TRAP COMMITTEE MEMBERS.
    2) PEOPLE SCORING AND FILLING MACHINE ON REGULAR SCHEDULED SHOOTING DAYS MUST SEE TRAP CHAIRMAN FOR TIMES.
    3) PEOPLE WHO WORK ON OR REPAIR AND MAINTAIN TRAP MACHINE AND RELATED EQUIPMENT(Grounds, buildings, lights, etc).

  • WORKING FOR HOURS WILL NOT INCLUDE:
    1) PEOPLE WHO SCORE AND FILL MACHINE ON NON-SCHEDULED DAYS.

  • THE USE OF THE TRAP RANGE ON NON-SCHEDULED DAYS IS A PRIVILEGE GIVEN TO YOU BY THE TRAP COMMITTEE AND THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
  • NO ONE WILL USE TRAP MACHINE WITHOUT BEING INSTRUCTED ON IT'S OPERATION.
  • SEE ADDITIONAL RULES POSTED AT TRAP RANGE.

    ARCHERY COMMITTEE

  • NO MORE THAN FOUR PEOPLE PER GROUP.
  • ALL BROKEN ARROWS ARE TO BE PICKED UP.
  • ONLY ARCHERY COMMITTEE WILL BE PERMITTED TO MOVE STAKES.
  • NEVER WALK IN ON THE MIDDLE OF THE COURSE. ALWAYS START AT #1 TARGET, SHOOTING OR NOT.
  • ALWAYS PUT OUT FLAG BEFORE ENTERING THE ARCHERY COURSE AND TAKE IT DOWN UPON LEAVING.
  • WHEN FLAG IS OUT ALL OTHER RANGES ARE CLOSED.
  • ARCHERY LEAGUE IS ON MONDAY NIGHTS. RIFLE AND TRAP RANGES WILL BE CLOSED DURING SCHEDULED ARCHERY SHOOTS.
  • CHECK WITH ARCHERY CHAIRMAN FOR SCHEDULED 3D SHOOTS.
